The power of travel and connection. For GetYourGuide, travel is all about connection, and that shared experience of seeing the world through their local guided experiences and moments is their mission. For their launch into the US market, we knew this introduction needed something different than just an ad.

Our solve: As a company with a deep squad of athlete backing, we thought, what better way to showcase that power of connection than through our own athlete investors during some of the only open time they get — their offseason.

We knew the play, so we teamed up with investor and #18 playmaker Justin Jefferson to help make our first impression that much more special. You see, when Justin isn’t busy working with the Minnesota Vikings, he’s celebrating the big and little moments in life with his family, especially his mom, Elaine.

Cue the departure — hello, Roma! In the quest for memorable moments, the brand’s tagline of Make Memories has never been so true or so much fun.

The backbone of our launch was a nearly 3-minute-long hero asset (see above) for broadcast, DTV, and digital. Supporting content in the way of a 15-second teaser, a 30-second edu asset, trend-focused socials, and a comprehensive suite of stills rounded out our coverage for launch.

Across that media mix we play out the world of joy and awe that the Jeffersons felt across their trip, all without a single moment of acting — just the pure reality of their experience.
